This talk was originally given in the historic Terrain Gallery series titled “Aesthetic Realism Shows How Art Answers the Questions of Your Life!” Aesthetic Realism is the education founded by the great American poet and critic Eli Siegel. The painting is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
