Curator Victoria Osborne talks about The Star of Bethlehem which was painted by Sir Edward Burne-Jones between 1887 and 1891.
The subject is taken from the Bible and it shows Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus being visited by the Three Kings. The painting was commissioned by the Corporation of Birmingham in 1887 and is a large watercolour painting.
